1:1 COACHING

I KNOW.

We often rob ourselves of the possibilities of what our life can become.

And it’s hard to admit, but…

We keep asking ourselves these conditional questions:

What if I studied harder at the university?

What if I set goals for myself 2 years ago?

What if I started my own business?

I FEEL YOU.

The best time to start was 1 year ago. But we didn’t, did we?

So, the best time to start is NOW.

HERE’S HOW WE CAN WORK ON IT  TOGETHER

I’m looking for 2 driven individuals for beta testing run. Yes, you read it right – it is FREE for you.

I’m not going to sell you on success. I assume that you already want more from life than what you have.

The reason why you haven’t achieved what you want yet is either of two (or both):

1. Your goals are not clearly defined

2. You don’t have a proper structure in place

Let’s have a 15 minute chat! Maybe we are a match? 🙂 And if not, we don’t have much to lose, just those 15 minutes.

  • How to start journaling? Part 2.
⠀
Part 1 in the previous post.
⠀
“We are the average of the five people we spend the most time with” (Jim Rohn). Guess what it means in regard to journaling?
⠀
Surround yourself with people who are into journaling, structure and goals (or whatever you’re looking for).
⠀
🔹 A lot of my close friends began journaling because they witnessed the Journal for Busy People creation. I was discussing my ideas with them, and they too saw the value in journaling.
⠀
🔹 A lot of newcomers to my life got curious about journaling. I love sharing what works for me and what solved my problems because it can help others too.
⠀
🔹 People I’ve met on Internet got interested. If you’ve ever texted me about journaling and goals, you'll know that I always go the extra mile to help. Passion is contagious.
⠀
THE BOTTOM LINE
⠀
Surround yourself with people you want to learn from.
⠀
Get an accountable friend, mentor or coach to get in the habit of journaling, tracking your progress and analyzing results.
⠀
If you’re ready, jump on a free strategy call with me to discuss exactly Your situation. DM me or find link in bio.❤️⠀

  • A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. And guess what, journaling too :)
⠀
So, how to start journaling?
⠀
PART 1.
Define your purpose because this will determine a type of journal you want to get.
⠀
🔸 I started with a bullet journal because I was looking to improve my mental health. It was comforting to draw a layout and spend more time ‘digging deeper’ in learning about myself. If you need guidance on how to start, search on my website under ‘BOOKS’. I’ve got a best selling book on this topic. Link in bio.
⠀
🔸 Later I’ve created a Journal for Busy People to get after my goals. It saves me A LOT OF TIME because a layout is already done for me. Inspired by «The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People», that layout coaches me to reverse-engineer my goals with a top-down approach. DM me to chat about the journal or get extra helpful info in bio!
⠀
🔸 Parallel to the Journal for Busy People I free write and analyze every week with a Tim Ferris’ method (i.e., 20% of activities and people that lead to 80% of positive / negative emotions). I do that in my navy blue Leuchtturm1918. Yaas I’m obsessed with a navy blue color 😍 Get any blank lined / dotted / grid notebook.
⠀
Part 2 will be in the next post :)
⠀
What are you using your journal for?
If you don’t have a journal yet, what would you like to use it for?

  • Journaling? This is because you have a lot of time. I don’t, I’m too busy.
⠀
Sounds familiar?
⠀
I LOVE that argument for how funny it is 😃
⠀
But I can relate too: ⠀
🔹 We see amazing bullet journals that look almost like an art.
⠀
🔹 We hear stories of people who journal for 1 hour in the morning. So organized and flawless!
⠀
🔹 Their handwriting is so beautiful, and ours… is like chicken scratching. (Talking about myself as an example).
⠀
Here’s what I think about it: journaling should work FOR YOU, not that you work for it.
⠀
I personally journal for about 20 minutes a day (≈ 1,4% of a day). It doesn’t take long to write down what I’m grateful for and check my progress with goals or trackers when the system is in place.
⠀
It indeed takes more when I need to go the extra mile with my planning, but it’s an exception. Not for every day.
⠀
Journaling brings an amazing ROI:
⠀
You invest 20 minutes which can save you years of traveling in the wrong direction or spending decades with three-minute people.
⠀
If you are now thinking, “Sounds awesome Tiana. Glad it works for you, but I’m not sure if that works for me…” Let’s have a friendly call and explore. Link in bio.
⠀
Regardless, share with us, how long does it take you to journal?

  • Want to explore journaling?
⠀
If you’re reading it, you are ready to give journaling a chance…
⠀
Here’s why I journal:
⠀
🔸 CRYSTAL CLEAR STRUCTURE
⠀
You think you know? Write it down.
⠀
You’ll notice that you need to take an extra effort to frame and define your idea.
⠀
You feel lost? Start writing.
⠀
Organizing your thoughts and emotions into coherent chunks of information on paper will make it easier for your brain to process it.
⠀
Either way writing brings clarity because it “...removes mental blocks and allows us to use more of our brainpower to better understand ourselves” (Maud Purcell, a psychotherapist and journaling expert).
⠀
🔸 LASTING STATE OF JOY
⠀
I’ve always seen a glass half full. However, I used to take the positive for granted and rewind negative events in my head. I haven’t started loving the negative 😃 but journaling helped me to shift my focus to the positive.
⠀
Dr. James Pennebaker, leading expert in the field of Expressive Writing, says: “Journaling has been shown to be associated with drops in depression, anxiety, and increases in positive mood.”
⠀
🔸 HEALTHY HEADSPACE TO KNOCK OUT MY GOALS
⠀
Writing doesn’t only structure my life but also raises awareness. I got rid of activities and people that upset me. Taking the time every week to assess how my week went helped me divide people and activities into ‘DO MORE OF’ and ‘DO LESS OF’.
⠀
What benefits of journaling do you see for yourself?

  • Do you worry if you have to change your goals along the way? Think in reverse.
⠀
Let’s be real, here’s what happens when you decide NOT to set your goals:
⠀
“You're wandering around like an accident waiting to happen and the accident happens and that's your life.” - Jordan Peterson "12 Rules for Life"
⠀
Essentially, this means that if you don’t define your goals, you don’t give your brain something to look for. You allow anyone to choose your direction for you which can result in chasing someone else’s dream.
⠀
As opposed to it, when you instruct your brain to look for the things you want, you'll begin to see them. You start noticing more opportunities, and the compound effect will surely kick in.
⠀
Even if your plan is going to change 5 times before it's done, the benefits of defining your goals outweigh the drawbacks. It's just a way to get you moving. It’s a part of the process.
⠀
I encourage you to set your goals, even if you're uncertain about what they should be.
⠀
What methods do you use for setting your goals?

  • How to stay focused on your goals? This is not what you expect.
⠀
From what I hear from people it’s challenging to
⠀
🔹 Stay motivated
🔹 Stay consistent
🔹 Don’t get frightened by huge ambitious goals
🔹 Stay disciplined
🔹 Negate the unimportant
🔹 START.
⠀
That’s why I recorded a YT video (link in bio) about how to STAY FOCUSED on your goals.
⠀
What I share with you there is not what you expect though because I encourage you to first off IDENTIFY your GOAL.
⠀
I know what you think: “Hmm, to stay focused on my goal I need what? IDENTIFY my goal? Crap.” Let me explain.
⠀
If you’re not certain about where you go, no tip, friend or mentor will help you reach it. Sounds reasonable? Now, think about this:
⠀
“Top people have very clear goals. They know who they are and what they want. They write it down and they make plans for its accomplishment. Unsuccessful people carry their goals around in their head like marbles rattling around in a can, and we say a goal that is not in writing is merely a fantasy.” - Darren Hardy “The Compound Effect”.
⠀
Tell me, do you always write down your goals?
